When Thunder, Flukie and Sapphire are out playing in the ocean, having fun, they dont hear the dreaded weaved catcher (fishing trawler) coming near. All of a sudden Thunder is caught in a loose piece of fishing net and falls far, far down into the ocean depths, his friends Flukie and Sapphire do not know what to do. Thunder soon falls too deep for his companions to follow, deeper than any dolphin has fallen alive. Suddenly Thunders medallion around his neck illuminates. Hes cant believe it, but now a magic air bubble has formed around him, and now he can breathe. An underwater earthquake occurs and he is drawn into a vast cave system deep into the earth. He meets hundreds of friendly creatures and their leader Big Sid the squid. Meanwhile, Flukie and Sapphire enlist the help of many of their marine life friends. John Grisham writes for kids?!? Yes he does, and according to Miss Caroline at Main, he does so rather well! She reviews his book Theodore Boone, Kid Lawyer and lets you know what she liked about this story of a 13 year old who knows quite a bit about the law, and a bit about the book’s sequel that just came out.
