It’s sort of an old, black and white-y, 1950’s-ish set of children’s books about an old, plump widow living next to all sorts of kids. She gives them and their parents remedies, potions, and has adventures at her house. I have no idea of the title or author, but i am desperate to know them.

I love to write and really want to create books for children and self-help for Adults but do not have funds to help me. What and where can I do and go?
I would prefer children’s books because i can remember them easier than books! Movies are good too. Help!
A unique production company demonstrates how they bring childrens books to life with original music and sound design.
I’d like to teach my 2 year old more about Christmas and get him excited about it through reading books to him (among other things). Does anyone know of good children’s books on Christmas that would hold his attention? We’re Christian so books about Christ’s birth would be awesome too!
Wiritng a term papaer on how children books look at the character of the loner or the outsider, do you know of any that deal with this kind of character?

Every child is special. And every child deserves to be recognized for what makes him or her unique. Dr. Kevin Leman, in his books “My Firstborn, there is no one like you,” “My Adopted Child, there is no one like you,” “My youngest, there is no one like you,” “My Only Child, there is no one like you,” and “My Grandchild, there is no one like you” creatively celebrates the uniqueness and inherent value of each child. Read this book with your kids to let them know how deeply and completely you love them, just for being who they are.
My husband and I would like to write childrens’ books, but we don’t know where to start. Once we have some stories written, where do we go to get them published?
