Children read, sing and play to bring their favorite books alive at school. Starring the students of Lincoln Elementary School, Madison, Wisconsin Written and Directed by Marc Kornblatt Camera and Editing by Tona Williams Inspired by children’s books, art teacher Gwen Kong’s autumn art unit and a song one of his third graders wrote in class, Lincoln School teacher Marc Kornblatt composed the song, “Carried Away.” With the help of student teacher Korinna McGowan, colleagues Lori Gustafson, Angie Hall, Dave Jenks, Carolyn Konkol, Laurie Solchenberger, Susanne Treiber, Julie Young, Lisa Weaver and their students, he produced a music video to show children bringing stories to life. Once again he brought in filmmaker Tona Williams for their third project together and invited local jazz celebrity Hanah Jon Taylor and Conga player Rockameem to join the crew.
